Welcome to the final Question of the Day for this week.
Today's question comes from numbersarebad who asks.
"What movie(s) should be made into a TV series?"
At first I thought this would be a really easy question to answer, but once I started to think about it I really started to struggle. Due to the very nature of a Movie, they tend to be self-contained stories that typically "wrap up" at then end.
After some more thought I've come up with a few that could just work.
- Alien - I think this could have some potential, although I'm struggling to think of a good storyline that could last 1 or more seasons. Any help?
- Back to the Future - A weekly stoyline about travelling back in time and the effects it has.
- Metropolis - The Fritz Lang classic. Could potentially be adapted into a TV Show.
- No Country for Old Men - Following the life of an Assassin
- Memento - Could this work? A weekly thriller, slowed down from the original?
- 2012 - See how they rebuilt the world?
Some others that might work.. Alice in Wonderland, Men In Black, Twister, Mr and Mrs Smith, X-Men, True Lies,
As you can see, I'm struggling a bit!
