Let’s Decipher Taylor Swift’s New Video For “Out of the Woods”

Recommended Videos

Taylor Swift’s new video debuted during the “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” countdown last night, and now it’s available for you to watch again and again. The entire video is Taylor on her own, enduring all sorts of fairytale obstacles like beanstalks, wolves (like Little Red Riding Hood, although I was hoping this video would take a turn towards Werewolf-Tay), ice (shades of Frozen with this one) … mud … ? I can’t explain the mud. But maybe you can. What do you think of all the symbolism in this video?
