Having seen this when it was originally released, I have no need to click on that play button.
And yes, it was real. There was a big campaign. Once, a friend of mine used the school video capture card to grab this off of a tape we had, then compressed it into tiny video and put it on a floppy.
In retrospect, the irony isn’t quite as funny.

I remember this when it came out, but we didn’t have “video capture cards” to get it into our computers at the time.
I don’t think it ceased the growing piracy concern; my teachers themselves were the ones trotting around megabytes of pirated games. Megabytes!
