Todd Krut said that he was driving South on I-79 after work Sunday morning when he saw the crash. Krut said when he pulled over, the driver was out of the vehicle and okay.

“I went to check the car to see if anybody else was injured and when I did that, he jumped in my truck and went to take off. I grabbed a hold of the door handle, got my hand stuck in my door handle, got dragged down the highway and blacked out. I don’t remember anything after that,” said Krut.

“I don’t wear that anger, but I’m very angry,” said Jeri Williams, the owner of the Kia.
Williams said her Kia was stolen 24 hours before the crash, from a parking spot in front of her home. She said the thief broke in to her home while she and her daughter were sleeping and stole the keys and other items.
