New RE Classic 350 BS6
Sports minimal design change

The upcoming 2020 Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been spotted ready at dealerships. The updated model complies with the stringent BS6 emission norms and will feature new alloy wheels as well. The images have been spied by our avid reader Sunil and we extend our gratitude to him.

The new Classic 350 also comes with updated styling and new red and gold decals, with a matte black undertone for the engine and the wheels. The motorcycle is likely to bear a price hike of Rs. 12,000/- to Rs. 14,000/- when compared to its BS4 counterpart which currently retails for Rs. 1.54 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Except for the new styling decals, the 2020 Royal Classic 350 BS6 appears to be largely similar to the existing model. The bike will continue to come with disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS, while suspension duties will be handled by a twin fork upfront and shock absorbers at the rear. The bike continues to come with a standard headlamp with halogen lights, and the same taillamps, along with the signature two-piece seats.

Powering the 2020 Royal Enfield Classic will be a BS6 compliant 346 cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke air-cooled engine. The BS4 version currently makes 20 PS@ 5250 RPM and develops a peak torque of 28 Nm @ 4000 RPM, while mated to a 5-speed gearbox. We expect the BS6 model to offer similar power figures.
