Skoda India has confirmed that the Vision IN will be offered in India between April-June 2021.

Skoda Vision IN Concept SUV Sketches Revealed
The car is said to measure 4.26 m in length

Skoda has released the first set of exterior sketches of its new upcoming mid-size SUV for India, the Vision IN concept. The images give a hint of the design and resemble slightly as the Kamiq sold abroad. The car gets a bolder, more upright nose, complemented with the carmaker’s signature chrome-embellished grille. It also gets split projector headlights and an angular bumper featuring large air intakes and a 3-slot skid plate. Plastic cladding seems to be prominent all around the mid-size SUV that also boasts large alloy wheels and prominent roof rails.

Skoda’s upcoming mid-size SUV will be the first model based on the India-specific MQB A0 IN platform. It gets a crystal-like LED tail-lights but with an additional light strip that runs the width of the car.

Under the hood, the Skoda Vision IN Concept is likely to get a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. No diesel alternative will be on offer.

Skoda India has confirmed that the Vision IN will be offered in India between April-June 2021 and rival the next-gen Hyundai Creta, the Kia Seltos, the MG Hector and the new Mahindra XUV500.
