Rajiv Bajaj has mentioned in an interview that Bajaj Auto will expand their line-up and will launch the Dominar 250 soon.
Bajaj Auto launched the Dominar 400 three years back and the motorcycle has been fairly popular. However, the Indian manufacturer is not one to sit quiet and the company keeps launching new products to keep their portfolio updated and fresh.
Rajiv Bajaj stated in an interview that they are doing smart innovation which means offering a lot more for a bit more and making aspirational affordable. With this, the company has in the past launched newer variants of the Pulsar, Duke and Avenger product lines.
Rajiv Bajaj also mentioned in the interview that the Dominar brand will now see a 250cc offering next month. Bajaj will launch the Dominar 250 to rival some other 200-300cc bikes and this motorcycle was also spotted on test sometime back.
Bajaj Auto is confident that the launch of a smaller capacity Dominar will lead to an increase in sales. The Bajaj Dominar 250 will get a different chain cover, smaller tyres and smaller brake discs. It is likely to get the KTM Duke 250’s engine which produces 30 PS and 24 Nm. In terms of pricing, we can expect the Dominar 250 be priced around Rs. 50,000/- lesser than the bigger model.
