Kawasaki Vulcan H2 supercharged cruiser likely under development.

Kawasaki working on high performance version of Vulcan

Seems like Kawasaki wants to have an H2 variant across its range of bikes. It has become like Mercedes-AMG for the Japanese bike maker.

First they introduced the Kawasaki Ninja H2 supersport bike. It was followed by the sports touring motorcycles Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX and then came the Kawasaki Ninja Z H2 naked motorcycle.

Now, Kawasaki is working on a high-performance version of their cruiser motorcycle Vulcan. Likely to be called Kawasaki Vulcan H2, the bike will come with the same supercharged engine.

We can expect to see its styling based on this rendering. Some inspiration from the Z H2 while keeping the cruiser image of Vulcan intact with a single seat.

To fit the huge supercharged 998cc, 4-cylinder engine, they’ll have to redesign the bike. It’ll need a new stronger chassis and premium cycle parts for better braking performance and handling.

The engine of the Vulcan H2 is likely to be tuned for better torque delivery. It’ll be more suitable for its cruising character.

The performance cruiser will compete against the Ducati Diavel X and Triumph Rocket 3.

Currently, the regular Kawasaki Vulcan S comes with a 649cc parallel-twin engine. This motor produces 61 PS and 63 Nm of torque.
