Triumph Trident Design Prototype
To become the entry-point of the Triple roadster range of bikes

Triumph has revealed its Trident design prototype which precedes the new middleweight roadster motorcycle that the brand is set to launch.

To be the entry-point of the bike maker’s naked bike lineup, the Trident prototype is minimalist, with clean lines and design elements picked from the Speed Triple.

The prototype is the result of a four year development programme, with the development team focussing on style, ergonomics and performance.

Design-wise, the prototype gets round LED headlight, USD forks, short front mudguard, large discs, sculpted fuel tank with large knee indents and a single-piece seat.

With an exposed frame (is all-new), the bike brings some old-school touch, while the exhaust is tucked away underneath in a very neat fashion, something which has become very difficult these days due to stricter emission regulations.

According to the bike maker, the Trident prototype is built around a compact and powerful three-cylinder engine which it claims will have a good balance between low down torque and top end power.

Also, the manufacturer claims that the Triumph Trident design prototype will deliver proper rider ergonomics for an agile and dynamic ride.

Another key aim with the design prototype was the integration of modern digital technology, which has become a must these days. Triumph looks to have nailed it on that front and says riders would be able to use the features in an elegant and easy way.

The bike is set to arrive at Triumph dealerships during spring 2021. Watch this space, as more news about the bike will arrive soon.
