Smartphone cameras have come a long way in the last five years, with multiple rear cameras, night modes, periscope cameras, and improved processing all coming together to make for impressive photography platforms.

All of these technological advancements are great, but what ultimately matters is what you think. So do you think your smartphone takes great photos or does it take bad snaps? You can give us your answer by voting in the poll below.

We’re not talking about any specific situation here, such as portraits, zoom, low-light scenes, or ultrawide snaps. We just want to know what you think of the photos taken with your smartphone in general. We’re also not talking about smartphone video in this survey.

Personally, I thought that my 2018-era Huawei device took great snaps in the first two years of its launch. But the device has definitely dropped to merely “good” in my book since then, as its tendency to crush black hues and inconsistent color reproduction between lenses become more apparent.
