The Boothbay Region Ambulance Service announced last week that through July 1, its fundraising campaign had raised $77,155 through community donations. The funds are eligible for a matching dollar for dollar donation pledged by Paul and Giselaine Coulombe.

In response to last week’s announcement regarding the fundraising, BRAS Director of Operations Scott Lash said, “We are extremely grateful for the outpouring of generosity of the community and the continued support from Paul and Giselaine Coulombe with their very generous matching donation. Your donation has helped in the amazing success of this fund drive. Again, thank you! Your support is invaluable to the success and operations of the Boothbay Region Ambulance Service. Your donation will also be used to retire the debt for the purchase of the new ambulance and to help purchase state of the art equipment cost that is in need to be purchased soon.”
