We’re so proud to call the PNW our home. During this challenging time, there are countless examples of friends and neighbors rallying together to help each other. If you’re looking for more ways to help our Puget Sound area neighbors, consider supporting our Senior Supply Drive. We know that homebound and homeless seniors are one of the hardest hit groups during the coronavirus pandemic. The golden generation has never faced a combination of isolation and illness so prevalent. Many Seattle seniors are homebound, afraid to go out, and lacking essential items to feel safe and cared for during this time.

That’s why we’re partnering with Aegis Living and Seattle Seniors Strong to raise cash and collect necessary items for seniors, now through May 6th 2020.

If you’re coming into Bartell’s for your necessities, consider making a cash donation at our registers. Or, purchase any of these items listed below and drop them in our donation bins at the front of our stores. The donations will then be picked up from our Bartell’s warehouse in Kent and handed off to drivers from Sound Generations (Meals on Wheels transportation service) to be delivered to local seniors and senior living homes.

Would you like to make a monetary donation from home instead? Donate directly to Seattle Seniors Strong by clicking here.
