Terrence Newsome isn’t a political news junkie—but he’s exactly what you would find in a strong father who loves his twin children and who would do anything to protect them against the disgusting propaganda pushed by the Left. Terrence just wants to see his children raised right: to love their country, get a good education, and provide for themselves as responsible adults.
But in today’s world, that also means fighting for a common-sense learning environment free of pornography, which—to all of our surprise—is being DEFENDED by the Community High School District 99 (District 99) at Downers Grove High School in DuPage County, Illinois!
The DuPage County District 99 school is actually defending the highly pornographic book Gender Queer as a step towards “inclusion” for the LGBTQIA+ “community.” The Left has certainly proven that it welcomes anything anti-American, exposing the true meaning of “inclusion.”
Why would any school district or cultural movement—even the radical Left—want to be associated with defending pornography?
Hank Thiele, Superintendent for District 99, went on live radio to defend the graphic-novel Gender Queer. “However, somebody’s definition of what they believe is porn might be very different… so it’s more about sorting out community standards and expectations.”
Sexting. Fantasizing with sex toys. Getting “turned on” and more, are all GRAPHIC sexual descriptions found in Gender Queer.
If that wasn’t enough, Gender Queer even has graphic X-rated images of sexual acts between young boys.
When pressed if he himself had read the book and considered it pornographic, Thiele said no, because the book’s “intent…was not pornographic in any way.”
How did someone become the superintendent of schools without knowing what pornography is? In NO way was this book pushing porn, according to this morally bankrupt student educator. Terrence sent screenshots of the book, which are so graphic and unsuitable for youth and young adults that I won’t even post them here.
Remember that the superintendent considers none of this as pornography.
Why? Because of “intent.”
I shudder to think what that intent might be…
Meanwhile, the Leftist mainstream media has worked overtime to discredit and destroy Terrence’s reputation as a good man, smearing him as a far-Right boogeyman—all because he is fighting to remove pornography from his children’s high school! Predictably, the mainstream media has been unrelenting against Terrence:
- The Daily Beast went so far as to directly attack Terrence in their hit-piece in favor of the pornographic LGBTQ memoir.
- It’s no surprise that CNN spun the story, lionizing the students as they “rally to defend LGBTQ book” at Downers Grove High School.
- Raw Story simply concludes that banning pornography is a “Right-wing” effort. If the Left is pro-porn, then you better believe I’ll consider anti-porn a conservative belief!
In every single one of these “news” pieces (and trust me, there are many more), Terrence is smeared as an anti-LGBTQ conservative bigot. This is the necessary straw-man for the Leftist narrative. But Terrence isn’t what the media portrays him to be, and his cause to eradicate pornography from his childrens’ school is obviously the correct position.

Terrence made it clear to TPUSA that he is fighting on behalf of the moms and children of District 99. He has a big heart for his kids, the local community, and the concerned moms who feel such a debt of gratitude to him for leading the charge to keep pornography out of our schools! Terrence is not a political figure and has never spoken at school board meetings before—but this is when cultural leaders rise to the occasion and save America!
The Left has been associating this disgusting book with LGBTQ culture, and much to Terrence’s credit, he refuses to accept this association. Terrence is actually pro-LGBTQ. What he’s fighting against is pornography! The LGBTQ movement should actually find a hero in Terrence as he fights to disassociate the LGBTQ movement with porn!

Terrence is asking all of the important questions, and the school board is instead responding with riot-wearing police units, a picture of which one of the moms was able to snag while at the meeting. Once again, the Left is weaponizing the police to chill free speech and discourse.
Terrence has completely exposed the disgusting content the radical Left is using to corrupt our nation’s children. Terrence continues arguing on behalf of the moms and children who he now represents and is willing to dialogue with the Left. But I think the Left has made their position clear:
- When parents speak at board meetings, massive organizations like the NAACP come out against the parents.
- When parents protest, they are intimidated by police in riot gear.
- When parents organize on behalf of their children, all manner of Leftist mainstream media works overtime to create a narrative against them.
The way I look at it, when someone tells you who they are—believe them.
