Canon, please fix the R5

Canon, please fix the R5

The Issue

Dear Canon

Since the 5D revolution and the advent of the cinema line, we have loved using Canon cameras to shoot video.

Many Canon customers looked forward to the release of the Canon R5 and many have purchased or pre-ordered the new camera despite some of its video recording limitations apparently being related to overheating.

Since the R5 has been released, we Canon customers have been pleased to witness fellow video makers demonstrating online that the R5 may not overheat in the ways that some Canon representatives had previously described. We therefore ask Canon whether some of the video recording limitations of the R5 can be revised with firmware updates or a product recall.

We, the undersigned Canon customers, demand a reply to this request - before our 30-day returns period expires.

Thank you,

Canon Customers
