Text description provided by the architects. The office conversion in Paris was commissioned by an Austrian executive recruitment company which assists its clients in seeking highly qualified managers and is represented by a growing number of offices throughout the world. S.DREI Architektur developed the architectural corporate identity, which was to become the basis for the spatial conversion of the rented offices at each location taking into consideration the particular conditions and parameters applying in each case. The architects from S.DREI accompany their client from the start, helping them to select the location and choose the furniture, thus guaranteeing that the company conveys a consistent impression to the public.

The new office in Paris covers an area of 900 m2 and is located in the attic of a house in the city's 8th urban district. The building in typical Hausmann-style is located directly on the Champs Elysées and offers a unique view of the Eiffel Tower from both the entrance area and the reception. The basic repertoire with uniform furniture, partitions and paneling with partly integrated indirect lighting and the continuous use of the color white, was also adopted in Paris. What makes the Paris headquarters unique, however, are the special architectural features, which S.DREI designed especially for this project. For example, a modern coffee bar serves as an interface between meeting rooms and the back office. Its strategically convenient location in the office makes it an attractive place to communicate.

Another special feature can be found in the CEO's office. His office is used as a meeting room in his absence. However, to protect his working area, a built-in closet has been designed which can be locked and is integrated into the room as an elegant piece of furniture. When required it can be opened up and turned into a multifunctional workplace. In this way, both an individual work place and constant use of space is guaranteed without spaces overlapping and disturbing each other. The third special feature is devoted to the Accounting Department. This function has been accommodated in the middle of the office in a lockable glass cube, which can be transformed into an office room by blinds which prevent a view of the interior.
