Sanctuary State California: ‘Monster’ Illegal Alien Accused of Raping Two Women in ‘Rape Dungeon on Wheels’

A 40-year-old Hispanic man, reportedly an illegal alien from Mexico, is accused of raping two women in separate violent sexual assaults inside what investigators are calling a “rape dungeon on wheels” in the sanctuary jurisdiction of Los Angeles County, California.

Eduardo Sarabia, whom investigators tell FOX11 Los Angeles is an illegal alien from Mexico, has been arrested and charged in Los Angeles County with one count of forcible rape and one count of forcible oral copulation.

According to investigators, Sarabia allegedly drove a female victim to a secluded area in the Angeles National Forest and then raped her inside his 2015 Ford Transit van, which they told FOX11 Los Angeles was “disgustingly outfitted for rape” and a “rape dungeon on wheels.”

The next day, Sarabia allegedly drove a second victim to the same secluded area where he sexually assaulted her inside the van. During the second sexual assault is when investigators say Sarabia was caught by law enforcement.

“As District Attorney, it is my solemn duty to pursue justice for victims of violent crimes, especially those involving sexual assault,” Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon, a fierce proponent of the state and city’s sanctuary policy, said:

The horrific and violent sexual assault that these two survivors endured by the alleged suspect is deeply troubling and incomprehensible. Our thoughts are with the victims during this tremendously difficult time. [Emphasis added]

Sarabia is being held without bail at the Los Angeles County jail and if convicted, faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.

California, and specifically Los Angeles, is one of the nation’s most prominent sanctuary jurisdictions that refuses to turn criminal illegal aliens over to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency to be detained and deported.

Bill to Deport Immigrants Who Attack Police Opposed by 148 Democrats

A bill requiring the deportation of immigrants who attack police officers passed the House on Wednesday but not before 148 Democrats voted against it.

The bill passed with a 265-148 vote, with an astonishing number of Democrats opposing it. Fifty-four Democrats crossed the aisle to vote with the Republicans to pass the bill, according to Fox News.

The Detain and Deport Illegal Aliens Who Assault Cops Act (HR7343) was sponsored by Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ), who introduced it as part of the GOP’s efforts to highlight National Police Week.

“There is no reason that an illegal alien who attacks our law enforcement should remain in our country; that shows zero respect for our rule of law or our institutions, and they will not be positive contributors to society,” Van Drew said when he filed the bill.

He continued:

My bill would require that federal law enforcement detain these individuals until they are deported from the country. In addition, it will create a new category for migrant inadmissibility, which specifically bars illegal aliens from remaining in our country who have been charged with, arrested for, convicted of, or admitted to committing assault against law enforcement officers.

The bill was filed in the wake of an attack on several New York City Police officers who were set upon in broad daylight by a large group of illegal aliens, most of whom New York City’s George Soros-supported prosecutor, Alvin Bragg, released.

Van Drew blasted the Democrats after most of them voted to support violent illegal aliens.

“Today, Democrats had a choice between standing up for our law enforcement or standing with illegal immigrants,” he wrote on X, adding, “Unsurprisingly, they chose illegal immigrants.”

Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN) agreed with Van Drew, telling Fox News, “House Democrats just voted to protect violent illegal immigrants over our brave law enforcement officers. Once again, the Democrat Party proves they are the most anti-law enforcement party in history.”

Colorado Uses Tax Dollars to Fund Free Legal Services to Double Immigrant Asylum Grants

Democrats in Colorado are using tax dollars to fund free legal assistance for immigrants to double the number of asylum seekers settling there even as officials claim that President Joe Biden’s border crisis is breaking their budget.

In 2022, Colorado Democrats pushed through their state-funded Immigration Legal Defense Fund, which provides free legal advice to immigrants to help them gain legal status. The program is funded by $700,000 in taxes through early 2025, up from the $330,000 the program was handed in previous years.

The revelation comes from a Wednesday article by Rocky Mountain PBS meant to cajole readers into believing that “newcomers” are a boon to the Centennial State. The station nevertheless admitted that tax dollars are going to increase the influx of immigrants into the state.

“Newcomers” is the latest term that liberals are employing now that “migrants” and “immigrants” have all too often become synonymous with the word “illegal aliens.” This moving of the linguistic goalposts, so common on the left when a word or term outlives its usefulness for propaganda purposes, has been deployed throughout the media in 2024 in an effort to rebrand immigrants.

The PBS article focused on asylum seekers who have quasi-legal status and are officially permitted to be in the U.S. while their filings for asylum are being adjudicated.

The article went on to bat down what it called “myth #2,” which is that all asylum seekers are automatically approved for long-term residency in the U.S.

The article pointed out that the state funding has helped to double the share of immigrants who win asylum to stay in Colorado. From 2018 to 2021, only a quarter of the asylum applicants won their cases, but that share has now doubled to 50 percent.

That brought the PBS station to another “myth” it sought to kill: that of immigrants being given free lawyers for their cases. This, the article informed readers, is not the case. Immigrants do not qualify for free representation from public defenders because only legal citizens are guaranteed legal representation.

The article went on to say that there are not enough immigration lawyers in Colorado to service the 73,000 immigration cases on the docket in the state. So, many immigrants go without any representation at all.

Laura Lunn, the director of advocacy and litigation at Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network (RMAIN), told the PBS reporters that new immigrants “are not being set up for success, that’s for sure.”

Even as the article tried to convince readers that asylum seekers are not given automatic consideration and free legal counsel, it also ended up revealing that Democrats at the state capitol in Denver actually are working to give free legal assistance to as many of these immigrants as they can and hoping to wildly increase the number of those given permanent residency.

The article noted that, in 2022, the state moved to set up a taxpayer-sponsored fund to give legal assistance to these migrants.

“In 2022, the state of Colorado created an Immigration Legal Defense Fund to encourage more legal representation for those going through immigration court,” the article read.

“The fund uses state dollars to pay attorneys to provide legal counsel in immigration proceedings, and in April 2024, the state doubled the funding from $330,000 to $700,000 for fiscal year 2024/2025.”

On April 29, 2024, Democrat Gov. Jared Polis was thrilled to sign HB24-1430 into law, which allocated more funding to the Immigrant Legal Defense Fund.

In a press release, the left-wing activist group, American Friends Service Committee, bemoaned the legal climate many immigrants face, saying, “With no access to government-funded counsel in immigration proceedings, immigrants facing deportation often find themselves navigating complex legal proceedings alone.”

Democrat State Sen. Julie Gonzales and Democrat State Rep. Javier Mabrey celebrated the signing of HB24-1430, with Gonzales saying that the law reaffirms Colorado’s “commitment to justice and fairness for all.” Gonzalez added, “By increasing the Immigrant Legal Defense Fund, we are ensuring that our immigrant neighbors have the representation they need to navigate the legal system with dignity and fairness.”

Mabrey said:

Increasing access to legal representation is not just the right thing to do; it’s the smart thing to do. With this additional funding, we can ensure that fewer individuals face deportation proceedings alone, increasing the likelihood of successful outcomes in their cases and lessening the possibility of devastating familial separation.

Despite signing the bill to put more money into increasing immigration and providing free legal assistance, Polis has also made a show of deciding to bus migrants back out of Colorado. In January 2023, for instance, he was seen defending his policy of busing migrants to other states when they agreed to be relocated, and he pledged an additional $5 million in state funds to provide the buses to do so, the Colorado Sun reported at the time.

In the end, despite trying to move readers to believe that winning asylum is not easy or prevalent and that the state is not throwing free legal representation and tax dollars at asylum seekers, the article actually proved just the opposite.

Mass Migration Milestone: Joe Biden’s Parole Pipeline Brings Over a Million Foreign Nationals to U.S.

President Joe Biden’s parole pipeline has brought more than a million foreign nationals to the United States since its inception in January 2023 — exceeding the populations of Wyoming, Vermont, Alaska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

On Wednesday, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released figures for April, showing Biden’s parole pipeline is continuing to release tens of thousands of foreign nationals into the United States interior via the southern border and commercial flights every month.

From January 2023 through April 2024, more than 1.025 million foreign nationals have been released into American communities. The parole pipeline brings foreign nationals to the U.S. through the administration’s “CBP One” mobile app and “humanitarian parole.”

For perspective, more foreign nationals have been brought to the U.S. through the parole pipeline since the start of last year than people living in the cities of Austin, Texas; Jacksonville, Florida; and San Jose, California.

The CBP One app, whereby those in northern Mexico schedule appointments at the border for release into the U.S. interior, has brought more than 591,000 foreign nationals into the country. Those arriving via CBP One are primarily from Venezuela, Haiti, and Mexico.

Venezuelan migrants browse the CBP One mobile app searching for an appointment to enter the United States outside the temporary stay of the National Migration Institute (INM) in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua state, Mexico, on May 5, 2023. Under the intense desert sun, among sand and brush, hundreds of migrants crossed the Rio Grande from Mexico on the rumor that the United States would let them in. But their hopes were dashed as they fell prey, once again, to misinformation. Falsehoods and deceptions add to the ordeal of these people, first to reach the border through Mexico and then to obtain asylum in the United States. Likewise, roughly 434,800 nationals of Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela have arrived in the U.S. on humanitarian parole during the same period. Those securing humanitarian parole often fly into the U.S. via commercial flights after getting approval from DHS.

Specifically, DHS has provided parole to 91,100 Cubans, 166,700 Haitians, 75,700 Nicaraguans, and 101,200 Venezuelans.

DHS data, provided to the House Homeland Security Committee last month, reveals the scope in which Biden’s parole pipeline is drawing foreign nationals to the U.S. who would otherwise be ineligible for entry.

As of mid-October 2023, “approximately 1.6 million” foreign nationals had applied to secure travel authorization to the U.S. to score humanitarian parole — exceeding the populations of 11 states including Delaware, Rhode Island, Montana, and the Dakotas.

New Mexico Prosecutors: Migrants Gang Raped Deaf Woman in ‘Multi-Hour Nightmare’

Santa Fe Police Dept.
SFPD

Three migrant men from Guatemala have pleaded guilty or been convicted of gang raping a deaf woman after kidnapping her in Santa Fe, New Mexico, in June 2021. Another migrant, accused of being the ring leader, has since reportedly fled to Guatemala.

Oscar Rene Juarez Lopez, a 45-year-old Guatemalan national, pleaded guilty to rape and kidnapping and was sentenced to 20 years in prison this week, the Santa Fe New Mexican reports.

According to Deputy District Attorney Haley Murphy, Lopez, along with 26-year-old Owin Erlandi Lemus Cardona, 34-year-old Edward Climaco Velis, and 21-year-old Josue Donaldo Leon Cartagena — all migrants from Guatemala — forced the woman into a vehicle in the early morning hours of June 13, 2021.

The woman, according to Murphy, was then gang raped by the four men in a “multi-hour nightmare” where she was treated “like meat amongst a pack of wolves.” Some of the rape was filmed, according to prosecutors.

After gang raping her, the men dropped her off at her residence. The woman rushed to report the incident to police and take a sexual assault exam at a nearby hospital.

In February, Cardona was convicted of kidnapping, conspiracy, and criminal sexual penetration by a Santa Fe jury. He is awaiting sentencing and faces up to 43 years in prison.

Velis pleaded guilty to conspiracy and criminal sexual penetration in May of last year. He faces up to 18 years in prison but is expected to receive 13 years under the terms of his plea deal.

Cartagena, thought to be the ring leader of the gang rape, is believed by police to be living back in Guatemala and still has a warrant out for his arrest. Prosecutors said Cartagena previously admitted to being involved in the gang rape and identified the three other men.

Illegal Alien Accused of Sexually Assaulting 11-Year-Old Girl After Being Freed into U.S. by Biden’s DHS

Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office
PBCSO

An illegal alien who was recently released into the United States from the southern border is accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl in Palm Beach County, Florida.

Marvin Perez Lopez, a 20-year-old illegal alien from Guatemala, has been arrested and charged with kidnapping a minor under 13 years old and sexual assault by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

According to police, on May 2 the mother of the victim went looking for her daughter when she realized she was not inside their residence at the apartment building. She found her daughter inside a van with a man, later identified as Lopez, who also lives in the building.

After the victim’s mother banged on the windows of the van, Lopez allegedly came running out and apologized. The woman said she did not immediately call the police because she was concerned about her own immigration status.

When police were eventually notified of the incident, they interviewed the 11-year-old girl who said she was forced into the van by Lopez. According to the girl, the illegal alien started touching her and she responded by pushing him away.

The girl said she tried to flee the van but Lopez grabbed her and sexually assaulted her. When police arrived at Lopez’s residence the next day, he attempted to evade arrest.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Lopez crossed the U.S.-Mexico border in January of this year. He was given a court date to appear before an immigration judge in 2027 and released from Department of Homeland Security (DHS) custody into the United States interior.

Lopez remains in Palm Beach County Jail without bail.
