Text description provided by the architects. The clinic construction was completed in December 2008 and subsequently refurbished and officially opened in January 2009. The project was originally planned as a space to accommodate young patients in three different specializations: orthodontist, physiotherapist and psychologist.

The main idea behind the project was to provide space for work and amusement for the main users (children), avoiding the conventional concept building fit program.

The project is located in a region where temperatures are predominantly warm and therefore the use of high ceilings, bright colours, marble and no carpets. The project also minimized the heterogeneity of materials, simplifying the construction process. These measures together with crossed ventilation system created by different sizes and opposite windows, eliminated the need for air conditioners. The place also had to be durable in respect to children's use, and therefore it was required that walls and flooring were finished with washable surfaces.

In this part of the country it is not common to use insulation materials in buildings at such scale. Steel, insulated panels and double walls were used on the west facades where the afternoon sun is the strongest.

The design in general, although apparently contrasting with its surroundings, has close roots with the local architecture from the 50's.
