The Second Line is a tradition of parades, weddings, and other celebrations found across the streets of New Orleans and South Louisiana. The "main line" or "first line" is the main section of the parade, which includes the brass band. The Second Line consists of the party people-- those that follow the band to enjoy the music and dance in the streets.  Whether you are in the krewe or just a random bystander, everyone is welcome in the Second Line.
