Converting C# to Bolt Graphs (Easy!) - Animate Textures with Visual Scripting
I have a new course on Udemy! Learn Game Artificial Intelligence in Unity Visual Scripting: https://www.udemy.com/course/visual-s... Have a C# script that you want to convert to Bolt / Unity Visual Scripting? Want to follow C# tutorials in Bolt? Are you using Bolt to learn C#? This tutorial will show you how :D We'll walk through converting a small script from the Unity documentation. I'll show you how to use SetTextureOffset and ProBuilder to animate textures across the surface of a 3D model. It's a short useful graph for all kinds of games and projects. 0:00 Intro 0:20 ProBuilder Setup 1:30 Material Setup 3:30 Bolt / C-Sharp (^ if you already know ProBuilder and material stuff) Get these conveyor belt textures while they're hot: https://drive.google.com/drive/folder... If you'd like to start at the beginning of the series (this is video #4), here is the playlist:    • Unity Visual Scripting / Bolt Tutorials by...   Sorry about the 17-year cicada noise! I just moved and the Minnesota weather is too beautiful to not have the windows open. "Prototyping with Bolt and ProBuilder" is up next. :::Fun Facts::: The word "shader" comes from Pixar. How does albedo (Latin for "whiteness") relate to color? In optics and astronomy, albedo describes reflected wavelengths, i.e. colors (plus non-visible: infrared and ultraviolet), that are not absorbed. The older term "diffuse" in 3D graphics included some shading whereas albedo is the pure color. These days, diffuse/base color/albedo refer to the same thing.
