Seriously not sure why anyone would pick up this for racial bonuses. 2k flat health instead of a percentage? No sustain bonus. Health imp tanks will be ded making it a moot character. Good thing I switched to redguard. Looking like 1. Nord 2. Redguard will be the top tier for tanking.

    Exactly, I wrote my feedback already. Imperial from niche DK health tank role will turn into "take anything, but not imperial" race. I'm really glad that someone has spotted that because everyone is overreacting about classes which are fine...

      [*] Red Diamond: 10% Chance on Melee Attack to heal for 6% of Max Health → Imperial Spirit: When you Take Direct Damage you have a 15% chance to heal for 1750. This effect can occure every 1s.



      This would get imperial race where they belong to - heavy armored infantry with great morale. Perfect for tank builds, but not overpowered. Right now, this what you are suggesting will send this race into eternity of oblivion and regret.

        Yea I used to play a high health vet imp tank. I saw that in the update and was like oh no rip. Completely killed any individuality the tank build had. 60 to 70k plus tanks will have lost huge health.

        Imperial has lost not only health pool, but also sustain has been nerfed into oblivion. I'm sorry, but as a tank I'm not doing alot of damage, because I'm focusing on aggro & buffs/debuffs. That's why I'm suggesting defensive passives <additional physical resistance and healing while taking damage>. Health tanks will be RIP anyway, but at least Imperial will not be TOTALLY useless like they are suggesting.

        I'm surprised they gutted Imperial so much as it is already behind a paywall as it is.

        I guess they decided that they got all the money that they can out of the Imperial Edition and there is no need to give anyone a reason to have one anymore.

        My first character was (and is) An Imperial NB. He will remain my master crafter as he has the majority of the Motifs and recipes.

        Yes, and that physical resistance will complement nicely with templar and dk passives.

        Yea I used to run high health almost max resists I could sleep playing on the imp dk throwing out warhorns and sleeping. So basically health regen got nerfed high health got nerfed mag dk got a hit. When they do this stuff it makes the game so boring.

        True probably 3rd right for getting a sustain buff. But that's about it really.

        I still find Imperial to be the best race for tanking. The rework on Red Diamond was a good change that will give better uptime, and the addition of block/bash reduction is much more useful to me than anything the other races have.

        I'm honestly surprised anyone thinks Nord is going to be #1, the removal of the damage reduction for resists was a bad change. It's far too easy to get to the resists cap with skills + passives + gear, so its a wasted racial passive for me.

        Not all AoE. Its direct damage. So like with volatile armor when someone hits you then they get a small bit of damage returned to them.

        that's actualy a volatile armor bug returning damage from another volatile armor in a loop. don't portray that as an imperial racial boon.

        Yeah. I was tempted to purchase the Imperial at one point, but they don't seem to outclass any of the existing races that come with the game, so I will pass. I know Zos would be accused of pay to win if they made Imperials OP, but they should at least be relevant.

        Imperial is just a cosmetic upgrade packaged with a horse and crafting motif. The new passives for Imperial are niche and unimaginative.

        Why do imperials always get the short end of the stick. They always are the bad guys(except in a few cases) and their passives are the worst now. Imperials are my favorite and they just get crapped in all the time in ESO. The passives dont even match the lore of the game, there are two types of Imperials, from Nibeney and Colovia. They should be getting bonuses to health, Magika and stamina. Now their passives are the worst

        I dont get why they didnt make the 10th race open to both mag and stam play. the 3 alliances have a race for each role, pretty much - why just make imperial a 4th (and now weaker) tank only.

        Thats volatile armor procing itself against another volatile armor, which as a result procs red diamond infinitely and since volatile hits for so low this happens.

        But sure,lets act like its imperials fault.

        10% stam made it so at least that without sustain and a wasted passive, we could bang with the best of them, in PvP burst. Orcs had that extra Melee but we had 4% more stam and Redguards were more sustain. Now all of a sudden Woodelves can hit as hard as us as well on top of extra divines mundus sustain, they can now hit harder than Nords which should never happen. The Orcs now get an extra divine warrior mundus which is way better than the melee passive, extra stamina sustain they did not have. They will now hit way harder than Imperial and Imperial can never reach them. Now also from out of nowhere the uptight Dark Elves can bang way harder than Imperials as well. Imperial is left as the weakest in many aspects. To justify this massive weakening in comparison, Imperials should get more max stam at least... if not don't worry, we will get them soon, the Third era is not far off.

        Imperials aren't just mediocre, they're boring too. I don't mind being mediocre, if it means that there is some fun and interesting flavour to the race.
