I’ve been a huge destiny player and now have basically stoped since the launch of forsaken bungie have completely ruined the game everything is so much harder to do for example exotics you have to do quest and power levels change within a place such as the dreaming city I’m power level 511 and that works but when a public event comes you have to be 530 it’s horrible I wish for destiny 2 to go back to how it originally was especially with infusing items and I would like power levels to be removed for normal activities other than raids, iron banner and gambit. I can hardly even play this game anymore all my friends bar 1 have given up the one who still does play hardly plays and make gear easier to get you can grind iron banner for 10 engrams and get maybe 1 armour piece and 2 weapons especially with planetary engrams and grinding for the armor. thanks really like things to change.

I feel the same, and here's what I have to say about it. Honestly speaking Bungie, really? The hype over Destiny 2 at the start was way too overrated. You made a great trailer, but a shit game. I really thought that the game had potential and that maybe you guys would have made this game fun for everyone, but nope, you had to ruin it for everyone. This game was pretty good at the start, I thought that maybe you guys would add in random perks again like in Destiny 1, I thought that maybe you would have listened to the voices of us, the players. You didn't. You made the dawning event crap when you guys went on vacation (as though you knew that you would get hate from the dawning event, and just used your vacation as an excuse to get away from the players) with all the "pay to get everything in the event." You made the event crap when you guys didn't even try and fix the infinite nova bomb glitch, (no one really plays the dawning mayhem due to this). Oh, and don't get me started on the DLC. I started off thinking that this time it would be different, but no, it wasn't. First of all, the story was pretty crap. I only saw Osiris twice, once in the trailer, once in the campaign. This DLC barely related to Osiris, as we didn't even see what happened to him when he threw Sagira out. "You need to go Sagira! Otherwise, humanity will be a lost hope!" Well Osiris, if you came out unscathed, maybe you didn't need to throw sagira out and maybe we wouldn't have to play through the entire DLC. He would've worked it out somehow, he's Osiris! Maybe, Bungie, you shouldn't have made this DLC! It was honestly horrible, and I didn't really like it. There was no osiris theme to it except for the vex, but Osiris isn't the vex. Also, let's be real. The god of Mars will have nothing to do with the "God of Mars." Whatever that is To sum things up, you made this game a nightmare for me, and for many people I'm sure. I'll give you some pointers at least, the art was nice, the mechanisms for Curse of Osiris were nice but would be much nicer if the infinite forest was actually infinite. However, I still have one big thing to say. Bungie making Destiny 2, is absolutely toxic. Like I said, you overhyped the Destiny 2 trailer, as such, you got a lot of buyers for the game and these buyers, when they played through the game, they probably realized that the game is crap. They most likely stopped playing, and realized that no matter what, the Destiny franchise is going to be shit. You've simply lowered your chances of getting people to buy the next game in the series, even the people who play Destiny as a hobby. If you want to make money, don't use Eververse, please. If you made the story nice and many other things to the liking of the Destiny Community, I would say that you would make much more money. I have to say, I hope you pass this game on to a different gaming company or developer that will actually make something good out of it. You've ruined Destiny for everyone, and I think by the time the next destiny comes out, you'll have to shut the entire thing down because no one will buy it. Destiny 3 will be overhyped and the game will be bad. I have to say, I was looking forward to it, but I'm letting go. Destiny 2 will be the last Destiny game in the series that I'll play. Oh, and I'll still play Destiny 2, its not like I have any other games to play, Its literally one of the only games I have, but it ends here Bungie. The legend will end as fast as they were born, maybe not with Destiny 2, but definitely with the upcoming destiny games.

Had lot of excpecitstions for this, but it's a big let down. The game runs perfectly on PC and I appreciate that but it lacks of real endgame. The dlc looks terrible. I already gave up. But hey Activision's touch right?

Destiny 2 is terrible.. I don't understand how no one can see that they took destiny 1 and just changed a few things lol... Same bugs same problem. Cool a world event spawned.. under the map thanks. Same gear over and over. There is no real challenge and the PvP lacks everything. Competitive has nothing to offer that quick play doesnt. The PVE maps and missions are so bland that you question what destiny you are really playing. Even the subclasses are boring.. There really is nothing to work towards.. it's just rinse and repeat over and over. Dismantle gear to upgrade gear.. k that's it destiny 2 is done and beat. Enjoy doing nothing once u maxed ur gear. And omg can you plz fix jump?! It's still the same aggravating crap from destiny 1. If I jump on a damn rock it's a rock not a freaking bounce pad.. like what the hell is the world made out of trampolines? Do I have those 1990 Nickelodeon shoes on that make me bounce everywhere? Then the climb is complete garbage. If I see a ledge that is right above my robot hair line. Why can't I grab it? Do I have Trex arms!? Don't even get me started on the elites.. If I have to chase an elite around the whole freaking map just to get 1 token.. I can't help but get so enraged and wonder why chasing them is harder then killing them. Come the freak on! Bungie is nothing but a milk maid at this point. What happened to effort and creativity. Corporate douches no real creative minds here

It is. I love Destiny 1 and played all three years (began playing during the alpha). The only reason I am continuing to play is because I bought the season pass. Not gonna waste $35.00. 1. The story SUCKS (once again). Ghaul was supposed to be THE villain only to end up being the most disappointing push over in modern video game history. Bungie said "The story will be over fifty hours" MY ASS! I finished the entire story in six hours! WHAT? The mission structure is again repetitive with so many horde modes and ghost opening door sequences. Yeah there were "cutscenes", but that doesn't excuse the fact that it's so goddamn short and hollow that you don't even care about the stupid ending tease that is not gratified or earned (spoiler). 2. LOOT IS BULLSHIT! You know getting 20 duplicates in one hour would be fun, IF THERE WERE RANDOM WEAPON ROLLS! But since all the guns are fixed there is no excitement to loot. There's not many weapons which means getting the same weapon is a HUGE possibility! 3. There is no difficulty progression. In D1, there was a path to get ready for nightfalls and raids. In this game finish the incredibly easy story missions, side quests, and strikes only to jump into a massive difficulty spike when you do your first night fall and raid. 4. Crucible is boring. There is no reason to play crucible because it's extremely easy to get things and after a few matches you will just hate doing it. All in all it's a bad game that, if it wants to survive, needs to do some serious changing and improvement to even come close to being a "good" game. A sequel takes what was good about the predecessor and adds more meaningful and new mechanics to make it different but contain the essence of the original. How a free to play game like Warframe can have so much content and depth and beat D2 cold BAFFLES me. Destiny has 500 MILLION DOLLARS and somehow they just don't care. Dont get D2 unless they change, it's a waste of time and money!

Honestly d2 isnt a bad game its just not a very good one, its a nice solid 6/10 maybe. Compared to d1 at launch its msrginally better overall, fslling drastically short in some areas while improving others. However, you'd expect a sequel to have learned from the first game, so its immensely dissapointing to see they...basically didnt. Thats what makes destiny 2 feel like a bad game, 3 years of Qol changes and updates just...missing.
