Iron Banner 6v6 is being postponed
Due to a late-breaking issue that’s been discovered through internal testing, Iron Banner 6v6 is being postponed.
We’ve found that all players in 6v6 matches are returned to Orbit with ANTEATER errors when reaching certain score and timer conditions. We are actively working on a fix for this issue, but will not be able to release this by April 10.
As such, Rumble will be replacing Iron Banner next week as the featured gametype in the Weekly Crucible playlist. As noted in yesterday’s blog update, Rumble will now feature 6-player Free-for-all with additional spawn fixes coming in Hotfix 1.1.4.1 on Tuesday. Iron Banner will return as soon as we can issue a fix. Sorry for the inconvenience.

It sucks that each and every time there is a cock-up with Destiny 2, you have to put out the bad news, deal with the flaming responses, bearing the brunt of the ire, frustration, irritation and angst from the community, and then field the responses where appropriate. I am not angry at you, and despite my snark-offs in the forum, it is not directed at you. You end up being the whipping boy, and you don't deserve it. Others... higher up the food chain... deserve the lashings...

13 RepliesAt this point, I feel pity for Cozmo. I wonder how embarrassed he must feel to read all these posts from kids who lose their mind because they can't play a week long event in Destiny 2. Back in my era people would play video games for fun and fun is now from what I can see a lost art to most of the people playing games in this day and age. All in all, I'm going to be extremely grateful and say thank you to Bungie for giving me this game even if it's not perfect. I'm also saying thank you to Cozmo and the people at Bungie for taking the time to fix Iron Banner so we can play it instead of just saying "yeah we're cancelling Iron Banner for the month". Oh and for those who don't agree with what I have to say and want to send me hate filled remarks out of childish spite go ahead, I'm going to completely ignore and disregard you because I don't see the need to waste an ounce of my precious breath or time on kids like you.

Bungie, the Slackermeter has reached a new level with the poor support/content this game has. Also, this game seems to me like the longest April's fool ever. GET TO WORK.

So why was it ever removed in the first place? It seems like a majority of the issues that have come along are because Bungie tried to cater to the casual players and not their dedicated audience.

33 RepliesCozmo - would it just make more sense to shut down the PvP entirely in order to make a much better game/game experience for all players at this point? Get all that creative talent you have producing meaningful end game activities, challenging new areas, customizable weapons/armors, even new raids and bosses. Dare I mentioned it - Lore? By reading the forums and even your own postings, the company continually seems to keep falling flat on their face in regards to PvP elements. Hasn't the failed experiment gone on long enough, when will enough be enough? I don't expect a reply from you, and I fully expect a lot of hate in feedback. But what made Destiny was the World, the locations, the lore, the differences that each individual experienced. Destiny 2 when spoken about by the company and by players is nothing but balance and similarities. everyone running (for the most part) the same exact armor, the same exact weapon, the same exact......... that does not make the game fun for anyone. My 2 cents - take them for what they are and throw em in a bowl with the other change lost to redundancy.

Which would be smart before season 3, since season 3 is your only chance to get your community back.... 💀 I would be all over that 💩.... Take some time and give your gamers what they deserve, a proper gaming experience and not this jumbled up bull💩... Brokeback Banner...again? Seriously?! Why announce something when it's not ready? Oh wait... Suggestion: Since D1 is up and running and everything is "working" and pretty much all the requests players want are in place, hire the janitorial crew to write some new DLC (use the funds from that came from D2 and Tess at Eververse) and give players what they want.

Farcry5 (Which is awesome) is already having community events and for a massive fps I've ran into 0 bugs. ESO finds a bug its patched almost immediately. What did you go with on this game a three month play ability seriously this game is garbage. Make your money and run you can’t even fix any of the updates and then you keep messing with all the physics of the game thanks for making half my friends leave if this DLC is garbage I’m done with Destiny forever I have every exotic armor and every exotic gun. Every gun from the factions every iron banner gun almost all the trails guns thanks to the glitch soon. I’ve already taught 200 of my friends how to do start select glitch you better fix it soon
