Destiny 2’s raid, Leviathan, has been conquered for the first time, developer Bungie announced today.

The honor of the world’s first completion went to a fireteam from The Legend Himself, a clan on PlayStation 4. That’s the same clan of Destiny pros that came close to notching the first completion of Wrath of the Machine, the raid from Destiny: Rise of Iron. You can watch the last moments of their battle with Leviathan’s final boss in this clip from Twitch — as long as you don’t care about raid spoilers, of course:

The gang from The Legend Himself completed Leviathan shortly after 6:30 p.m. ET today, more than five and a half hours after the raid went live. That’s comparable to the time it took for the world’s first completions of the raids in The Dark Below (Crota’s End, about six hours) and The Taken King (King’s Fall, about seven hours). Destiny players have gotten a lot better at figuring things out since the original game’s raid, Vault of Glass — nobody finished that one until about 14 hours after it had gone live.

You may not care about The Legend Himself’s feat, but you should if you play Crucible multiplayer games in Destiny 2. The completion of Leviathan unlocked a new PvP map, Emperor’s Respite, for all players.

If you’re attempting to tackle Leviathan yourself, check out our guide on how to gear up for the raid, which comes with a recommended power level of 270. You can also watch Polygon’s blind run of the raid — or at least, the start of it — below. For more on Destiny 2, read our review-in-progress.
