Botanica Atlanta Landscape Design

We had a need to re-do our side yard, which was slowly eroding due to the sloping landscape. We had some general ideas of what we wanted to do (add stone steps), but were looking for some professional consultation. We had 4 separate companies come out to consult with us and provide a price quote.

Stuart at Botanica Atlanta was the ONLY consultation we received where we felt a complete vision for the project was provided. He and his staff were able to provide us recommendations on the types of plantings that would thrive in our partially shaded yard, and options to fit within our budget.

The work Botanica completed for us included: 1) Construction of a gated fence with custom wood door; 2) Stone stairway leading from gate to Pool deck; 3) Installation of updated irrigation system; 4) Landscaping & Drainage; 5) Planting of flowers, shrubs, trees, etc.; 6) Install new Zeon Zoysia sod.

The project took just 4 weeks to complete, and was done on time and on budget. It was obvious to us that Stuart and his team takes great pride in what they do and are very skilled. They weren't just trying to "get the job done", but were focused on delivering high-quality work and making us happy with the results.

We are VERY happy with the results and clearly made the right choice with Botanica Atlanta. We highly recommend them!

After learning one of the owners doesn't work with gays, how can anyone give them business in Atlanta ?

If zero was an option i would choose it. The short version is - i needed help with the fescue lawn in my back yard. After the work they performed, it is a muddy mess and much worse than it was before.

Jason came out 8/31. He suggested aeration and reseeding. I explained that i had that done every year and it would need more than that. He said he would put down a thin layer of top soil, aerate, and reseed. This solution would "rejuvenate" my lawn. The work was perform on October 1. As of today, my backyard is a muddy mess. Anytime i walk in the back, an inch of mud gets stuck to my shoes. The only thing accomplished was the weeds in the backyard were further spread. I have reached out to the company several times. Not only would they not fix the problem, they would not refund my money. Worse part it is now too late to do anything. So, unless i want to have sod put in, i will have a mess for another year.

Contacted today about a very large project in Sandy Springs. The owner asked if the work was for me and my wife, I said no me and my husband and he replied that he wouldn't be interested in working with us.

Terrible customer service. Contacted the owner about work I needed done and he was rude, disrespectful and an overall pompous jerk. He speaks down to you like he is more important than you and as if it should be some kind of privledge to work with him. I've never been spoken to or treated that way in my entire life, especially as just a prospective customer! Do not waste your time contacting this company.

No follow thru, repeatedly didn't show up when promised. We finally had to fire them and threaten legal action to return our deposit. Avoid like poison ivy.

Completely Unprofessional. Biggest mistake of my life was hiring Stuart to do my landscaping. He though it would be a good idea to tear down a necessary retaining wall WITHOUT TELLING ME, I came home from work to a side yard full of mud and I never heard from him again after the first day of work. Yes, this guy gave me an estimate, started the job, completely messed up, and then ghosted on me. Don't waste your time, find another landscaper. Also, If you look at his response to the other reviews, you can see how immature he really is.
